Alright,
Since the most important thing in Jaala's life seems to be the television I will update y'all on what I am doing.

I started working with real-life foster care clients on Friday the 22nd (last week) and it was a very good experience. Everyone was trying to prepare me for the worst with the client that I was scheduled to work with. They all said he was a very tough kid and would probably tell me to F-off and things like that. Well nothing of the sort happened and I had a very good time getting to know the client and also teaching some social skills. So I am now officially a Rehabilitative Mental Health Specialist.

As a side note, on one of the 'shadowing' experiences I had last week the foster home I went to must have been constructed by some New-Age people before it was a foster home. Check it out:

when inside it is very strange to talk because there are all these strange echos and sometimes it sounds like someone is right next to you when they are really across the room, like in those hands-on science museums when you talk into a satellite looking thing and the person on the other side of the room can hear you clear as a bell.

Anyway, on Saturday I was totally free of commitments so I bought a ticket to the Flight of the Conchords show at the Hard Rock Hotel. The venue is called The Joint and it turned out to be a pretty fun show. Their opening act was Arj Barker who plays Dave on the FOTC show and he is pretty dang funny. Check out his website at http://www.arjbarker.com. He was out signing autographs after the show and I got a photo with him:

the only sucky part of the show was that the Hard Rock is not equipped to allow the quick exit of over 1000 people from their parking garage, so the show ended at about 11:30pm and I didn't get on the highway until about 1:30am. And I still woke up for 9am church (way to go me!).

On Monday I ended up having another free day, so I decided to drive to the beach. It is only 4 hours away and well worth the drive. Thanks to Memorial Day traffic however it took me about 6 hours to get there. But it was relaxing to hang out at the ocean and not really have anything to worry about.

On my way back traffic was very sparse in my lane but the traffic heading to California was still insane.

That white line on the left is all the headlights going to California. I don't envy them.
I had Game 4 of the Western Conference finals on the radio to keep me company and thankfully the Nuggets won, and they pretty much spanked the Lakers.

Harrison... I'm really disappointed... You forgot to mention the (obvious) best part of your weekend - Randomly running into me and Gary on Saturday morning. Hee hee...
